The beta update brings support for iOS 15 and brings this new feature to WhatsApp beta for iOS 184.108.40.206. WhatsApp has been testing the feature in Argentina, according to WABetaInfo. Take advantage of this new feature by learning what it is and how it can help you.
In order to make WhatsApp more user-friendly, Facebook has been actively introducing new features. Reports say that WhatsApp is testing a feature that allows users to send files up to 2GB. WhatsApp users can share media files of up to 100MB size only at the moment. According to a screenshot shared by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp’s popup notification now says “you can send media files of upto 2 GB”.
Currently, this is only available in Argentina and only a few beta testers have access to it. WhatsApp has not yet confirmed whether it will extend the same feature to more users in the future or not. The changes may be rolled back after the testing by restoring the previous limit.
